Everything you need. Nothing that shouts.
A focus timer that means it, a calm library for your distractions, gentle website blocking, alerts, a little to-do list and a quiet record of your progress, all on your own PC.
Settle into focus.
Set a duration, name what you’re making room for, and start. The timer, selection and pause are fixed until the session ends.
- Any length from 1 to 1,440 minutes, with 25, 50 and 90-minute presets
- An optional intention (“What would you like to make room for?”)
- Selected running apps close when you start. Save your work first
- Natural expiry always releases your apps, even mid-wait
- Timers survive closing Still and restarting Windows
Right here. Right now.
FOCUS IN PROGRESS4 apps / websites on hold. Your attention is yours again.
A quieter collection.
Still discovers what’s on your PC, so choosing is quick. Keep favourite combinations as groups: deep work, evenings, exam week.
- Desktop apps, running windowed apps and eligible Microsoft Store packages
- Browse directly to one or more
.exefiles - Paste a URL or type a domain; the whole domain and its subdomains are held
- Website logos are fetched once and cached; offline sites get a letter icon
- Essential Windows components and Still itself can’t be selected
Apps & websites
SELECT FOR FOCUSBlocked at launch. Not chased around.
Enable protection once. Windows asks for administrator approval and installs Still Guard, a small service that applies temporary AppLocker rules for the account that installed it.
- Exact path and file-hash deny rules for desktop apps; renamed copies are recognised
- Publisher/product rules cover signed updates where Windows allows
- Store apps are matched by package identity across versions
- Explorer, shortcuts, launchers and the command line are all covered
- Only Still’s own rules are ever removed; other policies stay intact
Still Focus Guard · running as a Windows service
A gentler way back to focus.
A small browser companion for Chrome and Edge puts selected websites on hold the moment a session starts, and turns already-open tabs into a calm block screen.
- Three built-in screens: Quiet garden, Evening calm and A clean page
- Make your own with a headline, a note to yourself and an image
- Or redirect blocked visits to an HTTPS page you choose
- Matches at label boundaries: blocking youtube.com leaves notyoutube.com alone
- Browser policies add a fallback, including private and guest windows
A fresh start
This can wait. You’ve got this.
Stay intentional
The evening is yours to keep.
One small step
Back to the thing that matters.
Enough is enough.
Daily allowances and a bedtime for the websites that pull you in. They work any time, not just during focus sessions.
- Add any website, or start with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit or X
- Time counts while the site is open in any tab, checked every 30 seconds
- One bedtime window (22:30–07:00 by default), switched on per website
- When time is up, tabs go to a block page until midnight or the end of bedtime
- Change limits whenever you like; they apply within a few seconds
Your websites, your pace
DAILY LIMITS & BEDTIMEWebsites with bedtime on rest overnight.
A gentle nudge. Or a fresh start.
Schedule a moment of intention once, daily or on weekdays. An alert can simply remind you, or open a focus window that blocks its own selection.
- Full attention covers every display with sound; Focus card floats above your apps; Quiet reminder is a Windows notification
- Four built-in sounds, silence, volume, or your own audio and video (up to 200 MB)
- Images, GIFs and muted video banners on full-screen and card alarms
- Snooze limits, a Show/Hide Dismiss option, and ranges that cross midnight
- Recurring alarms follow local wall-clock time, including daylight saving
A little list. A clearer mind.
A keyboard-friendly list for your next steps. It saves as you type, including during a focus session.
- Type / for a checkbox, tick circle, bullet, numbered item, heading or note
- Keep typing to filter formats; ↑ ↓ and Enter to pick; Esc to dismiss
- Enter for a new line; Backspace on an empty line removes it
- Up to 500 lines of 2,000 characters each
Your to-do list
SAVED ON THIS PCAttention well spent.
A wider view of your focus: time, consistency, and what you made space for. No streak shaming, no leaderboards.
- Total focus time, completed sessions and this week at a glance
- 7, 30 and 90-day charts with a daily goal and a consistency grid
- A session calendar: choose a day to see what you worked on

A few little preferences.
Simple settings for your own kind of focus. Preferences never control a session that’s already running.

Reuse the selections you rely on.
Take your history with you.
Images, GIFs, audio and video for alarms.
Focus rings, shortcuts, and Escape to dismiss.
